Introductory Ayat
ALLAH'S CALL FOR PURE AND TRUE MONOTHEISTIC BELIEVERS
After receiving the prayer in Al Fatiha and say "Show
us the straight way", have you ever thought of finding out
what is really the straight way? Yes, it is "the way of those
on whom Thou has bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion)
is not wrath, and who go not astray." Fatiha 1:7. But what
is the straight way?
To find the straight way, we need divine ayat which
means proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations,
etc. of Allah from His Holy Books guiding us towards it. For this
purpose, lessons are already prepared for your study. What you
need to do is simply open your mind and let Allah speak personally
to you His truths. Just reflect and meditate on each ayat
that comes your way. Sooner or later Allah will answer your prayer
and show you the straight path, and bestow on you His Grace and
spare you from His wrath. Through Ayat Allah, you will
not go astray.
Ayat Allah is composed of twenty lessons which are divided
into five units. The following are the titles of these units:
| Unit I |
Ayat of Allah's Righteousness |
| Unit II |
Straight Path of the Muttaqeen |
| Unit III |
Allah's Plan as Revealed in Prophecy |
| Unit IV |
Isa, the Word of Allah |
The lessons have been based on scholarly research of Allah's Holy Books—the Qur'an,
Taurat, Zaboor, and Injeel. These lessons would be used as guides for
chai kanah ("tea room") or small groups' study as well as for your personal devotion and meditation.
The emphasis on the whole Ayat Allah course is the
takqua (righteousness) of Allah through which one becomes a
muttaqeen (righteous) and how it is perfected and reflected in the
person's character. Thus this study course would lead you to experience true Islam
in your life and be a better Muslim. Allah's call is for you to be numbered among
the pure and true Muslims following no other but the religion of Abraham.
