There are three clues for each 7-letter answer word to be entered across in the diagram/puzzle: a definition column, a pair of words that are an anagram of the answer, and the letter 'E' already entered in its correct place in the puzzle. When all the answers have been filled in correctly, the center column reading down will reveal a hidden word.
